CLOSURE PLAN CHANGES: 27 February 2026:

• MM5.5-MM29.64: On Monday, March 2nd, we are extending the closure from Harper Road (MM 5.5) to Horrock (MM 29.64). This will allow the Contractor to eliminate redundant mobilization setup and focus on the busiest sections of the Trail during winter and early spring as snowbanks and ice dams melt. Ultimately, this will shorten the length of time the Trail is closed.

  We anticipate the section from Harper Road to Anthony Road (MM 14.15) will open earlier than the second section north of Anthony Road to Horrock (MM 29.64). Please be patient. We all want to complete this project as quickly as possible with a quality result.

• The Greenbrier River Trail will undergo a significant bridge redecking project over the next two years. The project is scheduled to begin February 24th, 2026, at MM 5.55 of the Trail. As work progresses, certain sections of the Trailwill be inaccessible to users. Up-to-date information will be posted here as the project advances. We ask for your patience and understanding as we complete this important infrastructure improvement. The redecking project will enhance the safety and longevity of the Trail for all users. As soon as we have more information, we will post it here. 

• ALL water pumps have been decommissioned for the winter (11/20/25)

• MM3.1 The drinking fountain does not work.(7/20/25)

• MM20.5: Bathroom destroyed by a tree fall (6/23/2025)
