Marlinton (Early 1900s)

The historic Chesapeake & Ohio (C&O) Railroad Station in Marlinton, constructed in 1901, served both passengers and freight. Though passenger service ended in 1958, the station was repurposed as a visitor center. Marlinton remains a vibrant hub along the trail.
